For over 90 years, the Tasley Volunteer Fire Company has tirelessly provided fire protection, rescue services, and public fire safety education to Accomack County citizens. We are a 100% volunteer fire station and respond to emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a fleet of up to date firefighting and specialty vehicles.
All Volunteer – All the Time!
We pride ourselves on being a strictly volunteer-only company all the time. Everyone here has a passion for genuinely helping others and making the community of Accomack County a safe one. We are one of the few volunteer-only fire companies without supplemental county staffing and we strive for continuous involvement in the community.
Giving Back
To The Community
One of the greatest things we do at Tasley Volunteer Fire Company is participating in and giving back largely to our community. Our station primarily serves the communities of Tasley, Greenbush, Daugherty, and Locustville; the town of Accomac, which is the county seat of Accomack County, and a large part of the town of Onley. We also provide mutual aid responses to numerous other towns and communities.
We are always reaching out and seeking involvement with the surrounding community, whether it be a benefit walk or fundraiser.
